4-Part Box Set: Design Your Life To Your Taste
So many people in our world today are trapped in a life
they have never planned, lives with dead-end jobs, soulless
relationships, fear of aging, insecurity and unanswered
questions, in a lonely city and a lonely world that doesn’t care. Our
response to this often at times is the dream of having
a better life designed to our taste. To be daring is the trait of being willing to undertake
things that involve risk and boldness. (Isaiah 43:1,
Zechariah 8:13, Numbers 13) Most people are not daring
to change their lives because they are cowards. Cowards
don’t have what it takes to change their life to suit
their desire. They are people that fear to try new
things and enter new territories. Cowards hang around
the same people, do the same things, and follow the same
routines every day. They fear they will lose something
and they fear a loved one will leave them. Cowards
are not sure of the future; they have the fear of the unknown
and the fear of uncertainty. (Jonah 1:6-9, Psalm 31:24) Lack of courage is another reason responsible for many people’s
failure to change their lives. Life must be confronted
courageously. It takes some a great amount of courage
to face the ordinary challenges of daily life. It takes
a lot of courage to change your life without giving up. Everyday of your life, you are called upon to make choices
to design your life to your taste. Your responses to
your everyday choices reveal whether you are a coward or
courageous. It takes courage to believe that you life
can change to be better. It is also important to note
that you can never change your life without you being first
changed. If you want to make a difference, you must
be ready to be different. You must be willing to have people say bad things about
you, be criticized, be questioned, be joked about, be ridiculed,
and be willing to take risks. (John 16:33)
The last ingredient you need to
change your life is being real. Fake
people don’t last. Those who stand for the truth
receive grace to change their lives. You must live with
the truth and be ready to acknowledge your struggles and your
strengths. This is how you become real to fulfill
your destiny. |
