2. The Work of the Holy Spirit
in the Disciple
- He enables people to be born again.

3.The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
- The gifts of the Holy Spirit are the supernatural endowment
of God’s power.
- The Holy Spirit is the one who equips us with boldness
in order to do God’s will.
- The following are the range of gifts available to us:

- Vocal/Speaking Gifts
- The gift of prophecy
- The gift of divers kind of tongues
- The gift of interpretation of tongues
- Revelation/Seeing Gifts
- The word of wisdom

- The gift of discerning spirits

- The gift of healing
- The gift of faith
- The working of miracles
- God has made available all the gifts and power that we
need to fulfill the Great Commission without any limitation.
4. The Fruits of the Holy Spirit
- The fruits of the Holy Spirit are the evidence of God’s
character in changing us into the likeness and nature of
Jesus Christ.
- When the disciple responds to the fruits of the Spirit’s
influence, we become more and more like Jesus in our actions
and attitudes.
- The list of the fruits of the Spirit:
Galatians 5:22-23
- Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,
faith, meekness, temperance.
5. Holy Spirit Baptism—Speaking in Tongues
- You must expect to receive this gift when God the Father
fills you or baptizes you in the Holy Spirit.
- It is one of the gifts promised by Jesus.

- It is the ability to communicate with God, spirit to
Spirit, which edifies you. (Builds you up and strengthens
your own spirit.)

- It is the gift of a language that is personally yours,

- It is an aid of praying in line with the will of God.

- It is a sign that must follow the disciple alongside

- Tongues are to be used for the spiritual edification
of the believer.

- Tongues bridge the communication gap between God and
man.

you utterance.

receiving salvation.
